The Happy Losers held their weekly meeting on May 28 at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. The leader, Jackie Pratt opens the meeting with the pledge and roll call. Nine members weighed-in and seven attended the meeting.
Linda Banks was the loser of the week, and Loretta Bouchard was runner-up. Great job ladies! The weight loss for the teams of Apple Blossoms, and the Lilacs will continue until June 14th. So far the Lilacs are winning.
The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week. Joan Sides led the program for the week. Her topic was on an article a lady wrote about her two-week binge on food. Meeting was informative and interesting.
