On Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13, Maine naturalist Tom Seymour discusses his new book, “Wild Plants of Maine: A Useful Guide” on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the WWLT Center.
On Friday, June 13, a field trip is going to be held from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Participants will meet at the center.
On Saturday, June 14, there will be a bird watching field trip.
An avid birder for more than 40 years, forest ecologist Marion Bates spends much of her time learning new ways to identify and describe bird vocalizations. Participants should bring binoculars and lunch. Call Patty at the WWLT for the location. The field trip starts at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
