STACYVILLE – Bryon Desmond Jacobs, 38, passed away unexpectedly May 31, 2014. He was born August 30, 1975, in Houlton.
Bryon graduated from Southern Aroostook Community School in 1996. Although life presented Bryon with many challenges, he was able to pick up the pieces and build a life and a family. Baseball was always a big part of Bryon’s life, as was being with his brothers at hunting camp, casting a line or telling stories of losing “the big one.” He was the type of guy that once you formed a friendship with, you gained a friend for life. He had a heart of gold, and it showed through his love of his children, family, and his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Sheila Smith of Island Falls; his father, Eugene Jacobs of Houlton; fiance, Andrea Perry and their boys Ben, Josh, and Jake of Stacyville; daughter, Breyauna of Bangor; sisters, Shasta Willett and her husband, Scott of Patten, and Jayme Titus and her husband, Jeremiah of Sullivan; brothers, Timmy and Glenn Jacobs of Island Falls; three boys that he loved like his own, Colby Stevens, Bubba Brackett, and Kaleb Lane; two special people, Gibby Chaloux and Amanda Crane; mother and father in-law, Deena and Frank Perry of Sherman; sister in-law, Jennifer McNally of Carmel, brother in-law, Timmy Perry of Sherman, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4 at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Dan Proulx officiating.
