   AR-Rossman-Morin CARIBOU – Rossman Y. Morin, 90, wife of the late Martin E. Morin, died May 29, 2014, at a Caribou healthcare facility with her family by her side. She was born in Caribou January 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Peter and Yvonne (Cote) Damboise.
    She grew up in Connor and was educated in the Connor school system. On October 28, 1946, she married Martin E. Morin in Caribou where they raised their family. She worked at Birds Eye in Caribou for many years. Later in life she trained as a CNA and cared for many elderly residents in the Caribou area. Rossman was a very kind and compassionate caregiver.
    She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Golden Age and Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed her volunteer service for over a decade at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Caribou. She loved music, dancing, attending yard sales and camping. She was always the life of the party.
    Rossman is survived by her brother, Roger Damboise of Fort Kent; sisters, Rita Theriault of Caribou and Mildred Ouellette of Connor; daughter, Connie Shirmer and husband Larry of Wayland, NY, son, Thomas Morin and wife Pam, and daughter, Sheila Morin, all of Caribou; grandchildren, Sheri Morin and Shawn Morin of Caribou, Jeffrey Rider of NY, David Dame and wife Nicole, Holly Duponte and husband Brian, all of Attleboro, MA; great-grandchildren, Adam McCrory of Caribou, Christian and Ashley Dame and Maelyn and Kaiden Duponte, all of Attleboro, MA. Rossman was predeceased by her husband; Martin E. Morin; a daughter, Linda Dame; a son, William M. Morin; and grandson, Michael Shirmer.
    A mass of Christian burial was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart. After the service friends and family were invited to the Parish Hall for a celebration of Rossman’s life and continued fellowship. www.mockler funeralhome.com.
