We may have had a slow start to this year’s golf season due to a tempermental Mother Nature, but her mood seems to have improved as of late. The course is getting into shape and most of the greens wintered very well!
We will be having our first Good Times Golf Night of the season on Thursday, June 5. Sign up by 5:15 p.m. and tee off by 5:30 p.m. Good Times Golf Night is open to all golfers: men, ladies and juniors. There is varied format of play each week.
Men’s Twilight League signup is in progress. The Twilight League will start on Tuesday, June 17 with a $20 entry fee per person. Tee off is at 5:30 p.m. Stop by the Pro Shop to enter your team.
The Pairs & Spares Golf was held last Sunday with a Red, White and Blue Scramble. The winners of a 22-person field were as follows: first, Francis Cyr, Becky Kelley, Ralph Powers and Kim Savage with 2 under par; second, Greg Douglas, Carol Blood, Terry Pettengill and Ola Tucker; third, Jenness Gushee, Debbie Porter and Peter Blood.
Pairs & Spares Golf is every Sunday with a signup at 2:45 p.m. and golf starting at 3 p.m. The fee is $2.50 per person.
