Cary Medical Center recognized 62 hospital employees with combined years of service to the hospital of over 735 years during the hospital’s Annual Employee Longevity Awards Banquet on May 16 at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center. Organized by the hospital’s human resources department, the event recognizes employees who have reached specific milestones in their years of employment.
Greg Collins, chairman of the board of directors for Cary Medical Center, offered remarks acknowledging the outstanding efforts of employees and their dedication and commitment to the hospital.
Following dinner, employees received awards for every five years of service given to the hospital. Special recognition was provided to those employees who have 20 years or more of employment. During the ceremony, Kris Doody, RN, Cary CEO, pointed out that the hospital is very fortunate to have such loyal and dedicated staff.
“We have been working very hard in recent years to become the employer and provider of choice,” said Doody. “The many years of service and the high level of performance represented in all of these Cary employees is clear evidence that we are accomplishing these goals. It is truly a privilege to recognize such outstanding service and commitment to our hospital.”
Employees reaching their milestones with five years of service were Katie Bell, Jolene Brecht, Bonnie Bouchard, Deneane Bentum, Amy Brissette, Patti Burgess, Lara Collicott, Heather Curran, Timothy Cyr, Shelly Daigle, Katelyn Forsman, Laurie Hartley, Kristen Huston, Ruvilyn McCabe, Kimberly Michaud, Rebecca Palmer-Bugbee, Laura Richards, Marlene Robbins, Sharon Rosecrans, Sarah Soucy, Jaymie St. Peter, Nicole Theriault and Charles Zappone.
Being honored for 10 years of employment were Shawn Anderson, Carline Berube, Nancy Bergin, Jacqueline Derrah, Caitlin Ellis, Marlene Gagnon, Erica Guerrette, Betty Hotelling, Lisa Lajoie, Richard Learnard, Stacey Madore, Tammy Michaud, Vicky Ouellette, Mira Saucier and Kimberly Wilcox.
Honored with at least 15 years of service were Colette Ayotte, Samuel Dobson, Lisa Cote, Patricia Bouchard, Garth Gilman, Mary Harrigan, Jeanne Norsworthy, Wayne Ouellette, Jennifer Plante, Troy Plante, Susan Randolph and Nancy Tardif.
Those reaching the 20-year milestone included Rick Bossie, Ann King, Cindy Goodine and Sonya Doucette.
The one employee being honored with 25 years of service was Michelle Turner.
Those employees reaching 30 years of employment were Judy Belanger, Michelle Richards and Trudy Wilcox.
The final honorees with a total of 35 years of service were Shirley Bishop and Bill Flagg.
