PenAir donates 300 round-trip tickets
to area Project Graduations
ANCHORAGE — PenAir has announced its support of Project Graduation events at Aroostook County high schools. PenAir recognizes the importance of these events to provide graduating students with safe, fun and substance-free celebrations.
PenAir is donating nearly 300 round-trip tickets across 12 Aroostook County schools, to add to the festivities of Project Graduation events and for use as incentives for the seniors to participate in Project Graduation.
“We know how important it is to celebrate the graduates’ success, and to promote a safe and healthy graduation for the graduates,” said Missy Roberts, vice president of sales & marketing for PenAir. “We are proud of these students for both their academic achievement and their choice to celebrate their graduation in a safe manner.”
Aroostook County high schools supported by the PenAir donation include Ashland Community High School, Caribou High School, Central Aroostook High School, Easton High School, Fort Fairfield High School, Fort Kent Community High School, Houlton High School, Limestone Community High School, Madawaska High School, Presque Isle High School, Van Buren Secondary School and Washburn District High School. The value of the donation is over $140,000.
