Beals Variety will reopen

    HOULTON, Maine — Beals Variety is not closed permanently.
Mike and Shelley Beals are expected to be in operation at their Market Square location no later than mid-July.
The store was damaged by flooding from a broken water pipe on the second floor, ruining the stock and stored inventory.
The good news, once they have reopened, Beals Variety will be carrying a larger assortment of party supplies, along with a wider selection of their sweet treat line.
They will also offer the deals and the variety of product lines they have been known to carry.
