The Oakfield Senior Citizens met at Smoki Hauler Snowmobile Club recently. We were joined by 14 members from Houlton Senior Citizens. We had prayer before eating a very good lunch with Houlton Senior Citizens, who brought a large array of desserts. After lunch, the Lord’s Prayer and Flag Salute were recited.
We were then entertained by Marg Silas with readings; Robert Locke and David Burpee entertained with music.
The day was enjoyed by all. Oakfield Seniors attending were: George Barrows, Jessie Barrett, Geneva Bell, Sharon Anderson, Kathleen Boutilier, David Burpee, Bernice Campbell, Alma Clark, Jeanne Clements, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Thelma Flowers, Arlene Friel, Nancie Fowler, Donna Furrow, Mildred Gagnon, Marie Gillotti, Sandra Holmes, guest, Marg Silas, Robert and Delores Locke, Bonnie Pratt, Charlotte and Donald Marley, Sherry Shaw and Wannetta Townsend.
Those attending from the Houlton group were: Norma McGary, Ruth Boutilier, Cookie Thurston, Theresa Kervin, Irene Harrington, Chavala Moran, Florence Nason, Alice Luhrs, Winfield Lowery, Gerald Jackins and Lela Long.
