Jonathan Bossie, son of Gary and Alison Bossie of Linneus, was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps on June 1.
He is a 1993 graduate of Houlton High School and a 1997 graduate of Plymouth State University.
Lt. Col. Bossie has deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and to Afghanistan and the Philippines in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is currently stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
