    MROCZKOWSKI, Helen B., 89, MARS HILL, June 14, 2014. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Kings Grove Cemetery in Mars Hill. Arrangements are under the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Mars Hill.

     MARS HILL – Helen B. Mroczkowski, 89, went to meet Jesus on June 14, 2014, at The Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. She was born April 4, 1925, in West Palm Beach, Florida, the daughter of Thomas B. and Addie V. (Register) Allen.
    She was born and raised in Florida and worked very hard raising her seven children alone after her husband passed away. Helen was a school bus driver for the West Palm Beach School Board for 27 years, transporting handicapped children. While living in Florida, she joined the Pentecostal Church and in 2007, she moved to Maine where she continued serving the Lord by attending the Church of Jesus in Presque Isle and also the United Pentecostal Church in Presque Isle and Mars Hill and was a member in Campfire Ministries in Blaine. She also served in campfire ministries in Blaine.
    Helen loved working on her yard and cherished the times she could cook for her family and had very fond memories of Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings.
    Helen is survived by her son, George Mroczkowski and his wife, Becka of Royal Palm Beach, FL; daughters, Barbara Brooks and her husband, Larry of Mars Hill, Jo Ann Fulton and her husband, Rodney of Blaine, Vickie Ammons and her husband, Donald of Ocala, FL, Karen Narramore and her fiancé, Philip Atkins of West Palm Beach, FL; a brother, Edward Allen and his wife, Janet of Royal Palm Beach, FL; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a very special friend, Gwen Weatherdon of West Palm Beach, FL.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Freddie P. Williams Sr.; her second husband, Gilbert C. Mroczkowski; sons, Freddie Paul Williams Jr. and Richard Allen Williams; brother, Buddy Allen; and a sister, Carolyn Bozeman.
    The family would like to extend special thanks to all the staff at the Aroostook Healthcare Center in Mars Hill for their loving care of Mom over the past two years. Their love and kindness and prayers will never be forgotten.
    A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Kings Grove Cemetery in Mars Hill with Pastor Rodney Fulton officiating.
