    PRESQUE ISLE – Shelly L. Rogers, 46, passed away suddenly June 8, 2014, at her home in Presque Isle. She was born November 30, 1967, in Houlton. Shelly was a graduate of Houlton High School and earned an associate’s degree in business from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She was a sorority sister of Kappa Delta Phi NAS.
    Shelly worked from home as a Tech Support Specialist for DirectTV through Asurion; she loved her job. She was so talented, patient, and kind as a customer service representative and always tried to make a difference.
    She is survived by her daughter, Roe Gonzalez of Presque Isle; and her mother, Charlotte (McCausland) Rogers of Houlton.
    She was predeceased by her father, Alfred Rogers.
    Many special friends and family mourn her loss.
    She loved her daughter, Roe, her best friend, Cindy Kaiser, and all her many friends. She had a passion for knitting, coffee, laughter, music, and dancing.
    Friends called at Faye Funeral Home from 3 to 4 p.m. A celebration of Shelly’s life was held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 4 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with her family and friends attending.
