    PELLETIER, Warren J., 90, CARIBOU and PRESQUE ISLE, at Presque Isle, June 12, 2014. Arrangements are under the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

     CARIBOU and PRESQUE ISLE — Warren J. Pelletier, 90, died June 12, 2014, at Presque Isle surrounded by the people he loved the most. He was born in Eagle Lake October 31, 1923, the son of the late George and Helen (Thibodeau) Pelletier. American Flag Color
    At an early age, the family moved to Sheridan where Warren attended school and was a graduate of Ashland High School in 1941. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he participated in the Guadalcanal campaign and served eighteen months in the Pacific Theater. He served as a line Sergeant and sharpshooter. Following his discharge, Mr. Pelletier apprenticed with his father who was a longtime jeweler and watchmaker in Ashland. He then attended and graduated from the Pennsylvania Horological Western Institute in Pittsburg in 1948. He married Theresa Boucher and they resided in Ashland. In 1950, he studied complicated watchmaking in Washington, D.C. and became a certified master watchmaker. Mr. Pelletier owned and operated Pelletier’s Jewelry in Caribou for over 50 years.
    Following the death of his first wife, Warren married Donna Cyr on March 31, 1997, and together they spent many happy moments at their log cabin on St. Froid Lake. Mr. Pelletier was a life member of the Lister Knowlton Post 9389 VFW and also was a member of the Jewelers Board of Trade.
    He was pre-deceased by his parents; his first wife, Theresa; two brothers, George and Leonard; and a sister, Marion Stevens; and a grandchild, Tracy. He is survived by his wife, Donna of Presque Isle; one son, W. George Pelletier of Cleveland, OH; two daughters, Susan Pelletier of Peoria, IL and Lisa Hall of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Jillian, Samantha, Christopher and Alyssa; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Warren will also be fondly remembered by Donna’s children, David Cyr and his wife, Eilleen of Caribou, Debbie Cyr of Woodland, Deidre Hutchings and husband, Greg of Winthrop, and Darrell Cyr and wife, Laura, of Freeport.
    Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 until time of services. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11 a.m. Monday from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Sheridan.
