Cameron makes dean’s list
STANDISH — Marina Cameron of New Limerick was named to the dean’s list at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine for the spring semester. To be eligible for dean’s list, a student must attain a GPA average of 3.5 or better, earn no less than a B- in all registered courses, and must carry a course load of no less than 14 credits.

    Smith earns honors
BURLINGTON, VT — Alana Smith has been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2014 semester at the University of Vermont. Smith, from Houlton, is a junior English major in the College of Arts & Sciences.
To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class.

 Harris graduates
SPRINGFIELD, MASS. — Alexander Harris of Hodgdon has earned a doctor of physical therapy degree in physical therapy from Springfield College for studies completed in 2014.
Springfield College recently held its commencement weekend where 600 master’s degrees, five certificates of advanced graduate study, nine doctor of philosophy degrees, and 30 doctoral of physical therapy degrees were awarded at the graduate commencement ceremony. At the undergraduate commencement, 944 bachelor’s degrees were awarded for a two-day total of 1588 degrees.

    Levesque honored
SPRINGFIELD, MASS. — Springfield College has named Kimberly Levesque of Houlton, to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2014 term. Levesque is studying Health Science/Pre-Physical Therapy.
Criteria for selection to the dean’s list are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the semester, exclusive of “P” grades; the student must not have any incompletes, missing grades or “CPs” in the designated semester; the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester; and the student must not have been barred from the dean’s list due to a disciplinary action.
