Madigan Estates has received the recognition of a five-star rating in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This is the highest recognized rating a facility can receive.
The facility overall rating is based on three areas: health inspections, quality measures and staffing. The health inspection bases its ratings on the last three years of onsite annual comprehensive surveys. Quality measures rating indicates how well the nursing home is providing quality of care to their residents. The staffing rating is the number of hours of care on average provided to each resident each day by the nursing staff.
The Nursing Home Compare website arranges the order of nursing homes according to the three indicators above, as well as an overall rating. The five-star quality rating system was designed to help consumers, their families and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily.
The Brown family — Brenda, Debbie and Jim — are proud of this accomplishment and recognition. This great achievement was made possible by the team effort of Madigan Estates outstanding staff.
