Amanda Churchill and Joey Smith are excited to announce their engagement! Amanda is the daughter of Eva and Kendell Churchill of Limestone, Maine.
She graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She is currently employed with Grandfather Homes for Children in Boone, North Carolina.
Joey is the son of Bonita and (the late) Clarence Smith of Roan Mountain, Tennessee. Joey attended Mayland Community College and works for the Beech Mountain Police Department.
The couple met during the summer of 2012 and the bride-to-be said “Yes!” to her future husband on December 24th, 2013. They currently reside in Roan Mountain, and a wedding is planned for October of 2014.
