Danforth Community Day needs volunteers

The Danforth Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a Community Day on July 26 at the firehouse.
Organizers are looking for vendors who wish to participate in the event. If anyone is interested, call Kietha at 448-2904.
Organizers from the fire department are planning on having the various agencies that they work with on hand, along with some surprises.  On tap for the day includes the department’s “good” chicken barbecue, which starts at 1 p.m., along with children’s games and even some clowns could possibly show up, one never knows. There will also be water games for children — little and big — a dunk tank, a motorcycle show and maybe even a country music entertainment.
To close out the day, fireworks will be displayed, followed by a downtown street dance.
