EASTON NEWS

by Hillary Hallett

Thank you to everyone who helped make Easton Field Days 2014 a success; from our volunteers, to basketball players, vendors, performers, parade and 5K participants and more, it wouldn’t have been the same without you!
Congratulations to Kristina Lento, Charlie Currier and Scott Allen for placing first, second and third in the cribbage tournament. Best of Show for the flower show went to Vaughn Martin for his bouquet titled “Gone Fishing.” This year the there was a 5K race; the overall race winners were Paul John with a time of 18:51 and Chris Rines, with a time 19:11.
Thanks go to our generous sponsors for making this year’s event a great success. We couldn’t have done it without your support. About 20 businesses and organizations contributed to make Field Days’ festivities fun for everyone.
