The Bessie Gray Memorial United Methodist Church will be presenting their eleventh annual Summer Musicale, Opus XI, on Sunday, July 20, at the church located on the corners of Prospect and Sweden Streets in Caribou.
The GMUMC Musicale features classical music performed by local musicians. This year’s list of performers includes organist Michael Sharkey, vocalist Teresa Herold, violinist Andrew Sullivan, and pianists Mari-Jo Hedman and Stephanie Sullivan.
Performances begin at 2 p.m. with refreshments following the concert. There is no cost for admission, however, a freewill offering will be conducted to benefit the church’s Senior Choir fund.
The Summer Musicale is a great opportunity for those who wish to hear classical music performed live by local talent. Everyone is welcome to attend.
