Early Head Start enrollment ongoing

Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) is currently recruiting children for two new Early Head Start center based classrooms in Presque Isle and Caribou for the 2014-15 program year. ACAP Head Start is a comprehensive early childhood education program which promotes child health, parent education and involvement, nutritious hot meals,and special services as needed for children enrolled in the program. Head Start is provided primarily for low income and community eligible families, however, all interested families are encouraged to apply, including families of children with disabilities. Early Head Start accepts applications for pregnant women and children up to age three.
