    MaryEllen was a throw-away kitten who is currently living at The Halfway Home Pet Rescue Adoption Center along with her very young momma, MaryKate, and her three other siblings. Volunteers at the rescue said that MaryEllen is about 8-9 weeks old now and a very healthy, happy and contented little girl. “She will be a great kitty for any size family,” said HHPR President Norma Milton. “She has a gentle disposition and loves having attention from well-mannered children. She loves having her hair brushed and is ready for adoption.” Her adoption fee is $75, which includes her first two distemper vaccinations, parasite prevention treatments and a voucher for when she is old enough for her sterilization surgery.
