Katahdin Federal Credit Union announces new CEO

    Katahdin Federal Credit Union Chairman of the Board, Herbert Clark, recently announced that Tina Jamo has been named president/ CEO of Katahdin Federal Credit Union. She replaces Don Casko, who retired in July after 23 years of service.

    Jamo has been serving as vice president of operations since 2007 and has served in various other positions at KFCU. She has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her most recent position at KFCU, she oversaw the branch operations, human resources, marketing, compliance and financial services.
    Jamo holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Husson University, associates degree in business management from Eastern Maine Community College and received the designation of Certified Chief Executive from Credit Union Executives Society (CUES). She is a past president of the Katahdin Area Rotary Club, past officer of the Katahdin Area Chamber of Commerce, member of the Katahdin Area Transition Team, and active in other community initiatives.
    Headquartered in Millinocket Maine, Katahdin Federal Credit Union serves Penobscot, Piscataquis and southern Aroostook County. The Credit Union is a $68 million financial institution with over 7,100 members. It is a full-service financial institution offering a wide variety of deposit, lending, mortgage and electronic products and services to its members.
