The Castle Hill Grange Hall Preservation Society met June 24. The meeting was brief, as it was the group’s cleaning meeting.
The Society has received several donations and would like to thank everyone who believes the Preservation Society should remain open for future generations. These donations will help pay for the insurance on the building for another year. Construction will also take place on the front porch in the near future due to some structural damage.
The Society currently has a gift basket raffle taking place. Proceeds will assist with upkeep on the aging building. The basket includes gift cards and an assortment of gifts and collectibles worth $305. Tickets can be purchased from any member, as well as at various festivals throughout the summer. The drawing will be held before the holidays.
The hall is available for rent for events and functions now through the end of October. Please consider holding your reunion, birthday party, anniversary party or bridal/baby shower at the Grange Hall.
The next meeting will be held Tuesday, July 22 at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend and new members are encouraged to join!
