Another beautiful day in Aroostook County. Thank you, Lord. Margaret Drew was in Canada visiting a friend on Wednesday. People are on the move. Some tenants are moving this week. Sylvia Thompson moved to Four Seasons. We’ll miss you, Sylvia. May your new environment be all you hope. Dan and Gayle Toby moved on Saturday to Four Seasons too. Gayle was my neighbor and a good one. On my last issue I mentioned Sylvia Cummings and it should have read Sylvia Thompson. My apologies to both ladies.
Priscilla Brownlow, after a brief stay at Houlton Regional Hospital, is at Madigan now for rehab. We miss you, Priscilla. She was the manager of Meals on Wheels at Ricker Plaza a few years ago. Bill Cogswell of New York is visiting his sisters, Lavina Byron, Gerry Dunn and Norma Bates. Bill and I have the same birthday date, so we were wishing each other a “Happy Birthday.” Brian Henderson is improving after his accident with a burned hand. We are glad. Lorrie Stevens has a few black/blue marks after a recent fall. You are looking better, Lorrie.
Thomas Suitter was a recent visitor in Bangor last week. Jeannie Hall is still a patient. Not sure if it is at Madigan or Houlton Regional Hospital. Good luck, Jeannie.
Angels: My angel is like the mighty oak staunch and strong, loyal and true. My angel is like the mighty wind: bold and brave, courageous and free. St. Mary of the Visitation Church is celebrating 175 years of Catholic faith. That is a wonderful record. Bible quote: “The son of Man will send his angels and they will collect out of his kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. This will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” Matthew 13 41-43a. Have a safe and healthy week.
