Nadeau receives Gwen Turner Scholarship

    This year’s recipient of the Gwen Turner Memorial Scholarship is Heather Nadeau, a Mapleton resident and graduate of Presque Isle High School.
Nadeau will be attending Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia this fall and is the daughter of Darcy and Glenn Nadeau of Mapleton.
Each year, an Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp member is selected to receive this award in the name of Gwen Turner, who was the food services director for the camp for over 20 years.
The annual award is presented by Mrs. Turner’s sons-in-law.
