    FORT FAIRFIELD & STOCKHOLM – David Milton Raymond Sr., 61, died unexpectedly July 23, 2014, at his Fort Fairfield residence. He was born in Stockholm September 30, 1952, the son of the late Warren and Helena (Viel) Raymond.
    Mr. Raymond was a 1972 graduate of Caribou High School and was employed as maintenance technician at Walmart in Presque Isle for a number of years. He was a member of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Dennis Catholic Church. He is survived by his two sons, David Raymond Jr. and Brian Raymond, both of Fort Fairfield; three brothers, Gilman Raymond and wife, Mary Jane of Stockholm, Gary Raymond and wife, Mary, and Steven Raymond, all of Caribou; three sisters, Jean Theriault and husband, Philip, and Cindy Johnston, all of Caribou, and Barbara Michaud and husband, Leonide, of Connor; two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Raymond was predeceased by a brother, Daryl, and a sister, Jackie Lagasse.
    A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, from St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Stockholm with Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating. Following the interment at St. Theresa’s Cemetery, all were invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the parish hall.
