WYTOPITLOCK – Violet Rose (McEwen) Caron, 74, passed away peacefully July 28, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 13, 1940, the daughter of John and Luella McEwen.
Violet enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Caron Sr. of Wytopitlock; her children, Kathy Cropley and her companion, Angela Munson of Lincoln, Bradley and Shannon Cropley of Wytopitlock, Michael Cropley of Linneus, Melissa Gilman and her fiancé, Billy Hanington, and Jeffrey Caron Jr., all of Wytopitlock; grandchildren, Sean, Katelyn, Hailey, Cody, Seth, Aliah, Jonathan, Samantha and Lacie; her brothers and sisters, Stanley, Jeffrey, Judy, Barbara, Jeanette, Larry and Roger; several nieces and nephews; and her special dog, Damian. She was pre-deceased by her parents; grandson, Tarry Gilman Jr.; brothers, Jack, Dale and Robert and sister, Shirley.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. Steve Waite officiating. Interment will be in the Drew Cemetery, Center Street, Drew Plantation. A time of fellowship will be immediately following at the Wytopitlock Fire Department.
