The Houlton Humane Society recently had a new sign installed at its Callaghan Road animal facility. The sign was paid for through donations made specifically
for the sign, according to Heather Miller, executive director for the shelter. Showing off the new sign are, from left, Tasha Ponder, Miller and Pam Rideout. The former “Isabelle Hess” sign was at the shelter for 23 years. Heather Bell, a local artist, painted the sign for the shelter.
