There will be a benefit bean supper and silent auction for Mapleton resident Brenda Wood Saturday, Aug. 9. The meal will be served from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Mapleton Lions’ Hall.
The menu will include beans, hot dogs, ham, potato salad, rolls and gingerbread with whipped cream for dessert. There will be a variety of auction items including, but are not limited to, craft items and gift certificates. Donations will be accepted at the door for the meal and the auction will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
