Parents of RSU 29 students entering third grade at Houlton Southside School are invited to attend an informational session at the school Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 6 p.m.
This meeting is devoted to all third-grade parents who may have questions and/or concerns that may need to be answered or addressed regarding the transitioning of their children from Houlton Elementary School to Southside on account of the grades shifting within the district.
A student open house has also been scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 6-7 p.m. for those entering grades 3-5. On this night, parents, students, and families are invited to come to Southside School to tour the building; meet the staff; check out classrooms; and attend informational stations on various topics.
