What a busy golf week at VaJoWa, with lots of people around for Island Falls Summerfest!
The results from the Pairs and Spares cross-mixed four-person scramble on Sunday were: first, Ralph Powers, Becky Kelley, Brandon Savage and Kim Savage; second, Stuart Kelley, Sara Douglas, Greg Gayne and Debbie Porter; third, Greg Douglas, Betty Smallwood, Peter Blood and Terry Pettengill.
Join in at 3p.m. every Sunday with a $2.50 per person entry fee.
The winners for the Sunday Red and White Scramble on Aug. 3 were Chris Eastham and Rick Robinson with a 38. There was a tie for second between Grady Anderson/Joe Bishop and Jeremy Knowles/Garth Townsend.
What a great turnout for Moonlight Golf on Aug. 1. Ten teams went out and gave it their best shots! There was a tie for first between the teams of Brandon McCarthy, Jill Mathers, Josh and Bethany Tucker and Grady Anderson, Kevin Carton, Chris Eastham and Theron Larkins with a 32. The second-place team of Parker Walker, Hunter Walker, Cameron Landry and Trent Cullinan came in with a 33. Thanks to all who participated!
