Officials with Machias Savings Bank recently agreed to become a sponsor of Thursdays on Sweden Street in Caribou and will be hosting Cajun Night this Thursday; tomorrow’s bimonthly street festival will feature La Recolte, a Cajun band direct from Lafayette, Louisiana. Thursdays on Sweden Street are the signature events for Caribou monthly during the summer months and draw hundreds of people to downtown Caribou for music, food, vendors, games and the front-porch connection.
