Rec youth soccer practice schedule listed

The Houlton Parks and Recreation Department would like to remind those registered players in the upcoming soccer program of their practice sessions.
The sessions are as follows:
Thursday, Aug. 28, at 9 a.m. for grade K; 10 a.m. for grade 1 and 11 a.m. for grade 2 players;  Friday, Aug. 29, at 9 a.m. for grade 3; 10 a.m. for boys in grades 4-6 and 11 a.m. for girls in grades 4-6.
Grades K-3 will meet at the small soccer field near the log cabin in Community Park. All practices for grades 4-6 will be held on the soccer field in the outfield of the Bob Ruth Field in Community Park.
In case of rain, meet at the Houlton Recreational Center and participants need to wear sneakers.
The rec staff encourages parents to invest in shin guards and a mouth piece for their child. Plastic cleats are optional. Those with questions, call the Houlton Parks and Recreation Department at 532-1310.
