     MAYNARD, Cleve, 60, EASTON and WASHBURN, at Easton, August 24, 2014. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

     EASTON and WASHBURN – Cleve Maynard, 60, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 24, 2014 at his Easton residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Presque Isle, June 21, 1954, the son of Kenneth and Thirza (Currier) Maynard.  American Flag Color
    Cleve attended the Washburn Schools and was a self-employed logger in the area for many years. He was a member of the Northstar Pentecostal Church and served with the Army National Guard for several years. Cleve married Elizabeth Skidgel on April 10, 1982.
    Surviving in addition to his wife, Elizabeth, are  his son, Kyle Maynard, both of Easton; four daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and John Worsley of Cairo, Nebraska, Stacy and Harley Carmichael of Presque Isle, Kimberly and Nelson Hill of Manchester, N.H and Dawn and David Collins of Mars Hill; five sisters, Toni Fournier of Caribou, Trudy O’Neal, Trina Everett, Tammy Mills and Tracy Bragg, all of Washburn; two brothers, Kenneth Maynard of Ontario and Cecil Maynard of Washburn; nine grand-children, Timmy Worsley, Kayla Carmichael, Dayna Collins, Daniel Worsley, Hunter Carmichael, Liddia Collins, Hannah Worsley, Elin Hill and Charlie Carmichael; many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife and her husband, Wilma and Teddy Long. Mr. Maynard was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Thirza, and his stepfather, Reginald Martin. A celebration of Cleve’s life will be held at a later date to be announced. The Maynard family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Aroostook, Aroostook Cancer Care and Dr. Angela Buck for their care and compassion.
