SAN DIEGO, CA & HOULTON – James L. Sawyer 66, passed away July 19, 2014 in San Diego, CA. He was born November 24, 1947 at Bangor, the son of Maynard and Adelma Sawyer.
James served as an architect for 39 years. In Maine, he worked for the Department of Agriculture. Later on, he was offered and accepted a position working for the Navy (NAVFAC) as a civilian in San Diego, California.
James is survived by his wife, Stacy Sawyer; his daughter, Celeste Grant; his children, Jason, Beverly, Josh, John and Joe; several grand-children; siblings, Bruce and Jan Anderson, John and Judy Foster, Sylvia Bean, Fred Jr. and Kathy Bean, Al and Jean Bridges; several nieces and nephews.
