DANFORTH – Yvette “Peggy” Duguay McLaughlin, 97, died August 14, 2014 in Houlton. She was born December 21, 1916 in Albion, RI, the daughter of Horace and Amanda (Tremblay) Duguay. Peggy helped her husband deliver mail in Haynesville for many years.
She is survived by her two sisters, Doris Gadourey and Albertine Damino, both of Fall River, MA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins including a very special niece, Vivian Lloyd.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas McLaughlin in 1993; seven brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff of Madigan House for their care and compassion over the years. Graveside funeral services were held on Thursday, August 21 at the Riverside Cemetery, Haynesville. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.
