The Mens Twilite League Championship is down to the Final Four Bracket. The underdog team of Dick and Jamie York will take on Jon Turner and Ray Mailman in the first semifinal matchup, while the No. 16 team of Marty Bouchard and Brian Fitzpatrick will play Gabe Goodwin and Dan Peabody in the other semifinal. The two winners will play for the Twilite Championship for 2014.
In the Ladies League, the team of Jen and Ashley Wallace hold a slim 1-point lead over the Jenn Carr and Beth Hunt team with only two weeks remaining in the season.
This weekend the Babe Caron Member-Guest Tournament will be played on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30-31. Once again there is a strong field with many great teams looking to take away the big prize. Come on out Friday evening Aug. 29 for our Pre-Tournament Party. Join the fun as we hold long drive, pitching and putting contests. There will also be food, beverages and music for your enjoyment and an opportunity to purchase tickets for choosing your favorite teams.
HCGC is hosting its first Night Golf Glow Ball Tournament on Friday night Sept. 5. Call the Clubhouse for details and to sign up. Glow balls will be available for purchase.
The Annual Cross Country Par 3 Tournament will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. The event, sponsored by the Houlton High School Project Graduation, will fill up quickly, so sign up now as space is limited to 64 team.
