The Houlton High School golf team played an opening season double match last Friday against Presque Isle and Caribou at Presque Isle.
The Shiretowners shot a 165 defeating Presque Isle with a 213 and Caribou with a 185.
Houlton’s Ryan Dee was the low medalist with a 37.
Other Houlton scores were: Cam Clark 39; Drew Marino 41; and Parker Brewer 48.
“The kids played very well for the first match of the year,” said Houlton coach David Grant.
