On Sept. 2, opening day was held at Mill Pond School, with more than 65 parents gathering with their children in the gym to eat breakfast together and celebrate the first day of the school year.
Parents were invited to bring their children to school on the first day to enjoy the anticipation of a new school year. After breakfast, parents dropped their children off at their classroom and returned to the gym for an informational update from Superintendent Scott Richardson; Principal Loreen Wiley; School Nurse Sandra Hare; and Home School Coordinator Rhonda Foster.
