LAS VEGAS, NV & CHAPMAN, ME – Shirley Henderson Etor passed away September 1, 2014, at the age of 76 in Las Vegas, NV, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Chapman, ME, on January 12, 1938. She was the daughter of George and Eda Henderson. She comes from a large family of brothers and sisters: Glen, Edna, Dagg, Wendall, Gertrude, Roberta, Linda and Allen.
She left Maine to follow her dreams of becoming a fashion designer in New York. She later moved to Las Vegas, NV, to work for Bonanza Airlines as a stewardess. She married the love of her life, Dr. F. Robert Etor and adopted two children, Kathleen and Robert. She devoted the rest of her life to being an amazing wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. F. Robert Etor; her daughter, Kathleen Etor; her sister, Gertrude Blier; her sister, Linda Henderson; her brother, Allen Henderson; and many nieces and nephews.
