To the editor:
First of all, I want to say thank you for the opportunity to serve as your State Representative for the past four years. It was an honor to be at the State House, knowing that I was there to serve my friends and neighbors. We made some good progress, and helped start moving the state in the right direction in many ways, particularly with regards to the economy, welfare reform, and fiscal responsibility.
As you all are aware though, there is still much work to be done. That brings me to my second reason for writing this letter — to let you know about the man I believe is best suited to take over for me in Augusta.
Dustin White of Washburn has stepped up to run for the Maine House of Representatives. Dustin is a hardworking, common sense guy who wants to stand up for the hardworking people of central Aroostook County.
We need more solid folks like Dustin, with Aroostook County values, to protect taxpayers and help grow our economy. We’ve done a lot of good work in Augusta over the last four years, so let’s send Dustin there to help keep it going.
Again, it has been an honor to serve. I look forward to seeing Dustin as the next Representative from central Aroostook, and encourage you to vote for him in November.
