On Sept 17 The Happy Losers held the weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. The leader, Jackie Pratt, opened the meeting with the pledge and roll call. Ten members weighed-in and nine attended the class.
Dotty Rand was the loser of the week and Riva Hawkes was runner-up. Great job, ladies, so says Marion B. Reports for the week were given by the secretary, Shirley Sides and the treasurer Dotty Rand.
Riva Hawkes led the program for the week. Her topic was on an article from the AARP magazine called Fat Intake. Meeting was interesting and informative.
