PRESQUE ISLE –– James F. Cooper, 18, passed away early morning Sept. 17, 2014, at his residence in Presque Isle. He was born in Sayre, PA, the son of Tracy Feichtner. He attended Presque Isle schools. He worked as a carpenter’s helper. He enjoyed riding bikes, skateboarding, playing video games, working with his hands, and loved animals.
James is survived by his mother Tracy (Feichtner) Drost of Presque Isle, two sisters; Elizabeth Smith and her husband Zach of Caribou, and Rachel Rae Drost of Presque Isle, a niece Annabelle Smith of Caribou; his maternal grandparents Frank and Gail Feichtner of Sayre, PA.; his grandfather Ernest Drost of Presque Isle; and several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his step father Cobby Drost and his grandmother Judith Drost.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 24, 2014, at Mapleton Baptist Church with lay person Michael Ireland officiating. Relatives and friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com
