Britton selected to 2015 Best Lawyers in America
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Attorney Rebecca J. Britton of Britton Law, P.A., has been selected by her peers for inclusion in the 21st Edition of “The Best Lawyers in America 2015” in the practice area of personal injury litigation — plaintiffs.
Since it was first published in 1983, “Best Lawyers” has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. It’s based on an exhaustive peer-review survey. Over 52,000 leading attorneys cast more than 5.5 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed; therefore, inclusion in “Best Lawyers” is considered a singular honor.
Britton, who is a former president of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, received her law degree from Campbell University School of Law in Buies Creek, N.C., and her undergraduate degree with distinction from the University of Maine in Presque Isle. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
