Randy Swafford of Woodland has 33 years of hunting experience and is a licensed Registered Maine Guide. This season he got his largest bear ever, weighing in at approximately 360 pounds and well over 6 feet tall! Swafford got the brute by a pond near the Perham/Woodland town line from a tree stand where he had spotted the bear with a game camera. A bear this size is hard to come by and promises to be a real trophy, and plans are being made to have it scored and mounted as well.
