CARIBOU – Dorothy E. Turner, 78, wife of the late Robert Turner, died October 6, 2014 at Caribou. She was born in Connor March 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabel (Gagnon) Dufour.
Mrs. Turner was employed by Potato Service for a number of years. Dorothy was a kind person who enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and pets. She enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found riding the four wheeler trails with her son. She loved to spend hours tending her gardens of vegetables and flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting, and singing karaoke music. Dorothy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Surviving in addition to her son Jody Dufour of Caribou are two brothers, Gilbert Dufour and Vandale Dufour, both of Caribou; four sisters; Mary Grace Blake of Nevada, Sylvia Ouellette of Caswell, Linda Thompson and Leona Hurst both of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral services, which were held at 12:00 noon from the funeral home. www.mocklerfuneral-home.com.
