SHERMAN – Faustina W. (Tina) Heath, 90, Sherman, died Oct. 4, 2014, in Patten. She was born March 23, 1924, in Hampden, the daughter of Earl and Lillian (Ridley) Wing. Tina enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading books, playing cards and board games. She was a great cook and everybody especially liked her biscuits.
She is survived by six children, Yvonne Patterson of Sherman, JoAnne Woodward of Sherman, Lillian Smith of Rose, N.Y., Anthony Heath of Langdon, N.H., Carol McNally of Stacyville and Darlene Heath of Mechanic Falls; 12 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Earl (Sonny) Wing Jr. of Lincoln, Ron Wing of Newport and Jimmy Wing of Winterport; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Leonard, two brothers, Reginald and Richard, and two sisters, Arlene Goodale and Eunice Simmons. Friends called 12-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, at which time a funeral procession will proceeded to the Sherman Mills Cemetery for a graveside funeral at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Main officiating. A continued time of fellowship was held at the home of Carol McNally in Stacyville.
A special thank you to all her Mt. Heights care providers and Meadowbrook Manor family and friends, as well as caregivers who showed compassion and loved her as much as she did them, for this the family is especially grateful; Dr. Hrynick, Julie Racine and hospice care givers who cared for Mom and gave the family strength thru this difficult time.
