Kim Nora Hammond
HAMMOND, Kim Nora, 43, EASTON, at Presque Isle, October 7, 2014. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
EASTON – Kim Nora Hammond, 43, went home on October 7, 2014, with her loved ones by her side at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. She was born on June 14, 1971, in Fort Fairfield.
Kim left behind her devoted husband, Doug Hammond; her two daughters that she thought the world of, Stephanie and Brooke-Ann; “son”, Christopher Wilcox; the light of her life grandson, Mason James all of Easton; her mother, Kathy Vaughn of Easton; sister, Billie Jo of Florida; her father, Charlie Hitchcock and stepmother, Irma from Caribou; brothers: Mike, Chris and Kelli Hitchcock; as well as many other family members and friends she cared dearly for.
There was never a dull moment with Kim. She enjoyed her camping trips with family, her regular lunch date with a special friend, putting her two girls in pageants, being fully involved in the Easton FFA, working down at Flewelling Farms “with her boys”, never missing a game, soccer or basketball that her girls were playing in at home or away and you would always see “Mustang Sally” driving her dream car.
We would like to thank the special nurses on the ICU unit at TAMC and her Oncologist, Dr. Sood for caring and giving mom the special care she deserved.
There will be a benefit supper to support Kim’s family, Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 6 p.m., at the Easton Elementary School, Easton.
Funeral services were held, Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Easton Wesleyan Church, 210 Center Rd., Easton. Services in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
