HOULTON – Patricia J. Woods, 80, of Houlton, died Oct. 13 , 2014, in Houlton. She was born Oct. 14, 1933, in Houlton, the daughter of Frank and Eva (Brewer) Willette.
She was a member of the Rebekahs, liked bowling, worked at Houlton Farms Dairy, and was licensed to do the spraying on the family farm.
She is survived by three children, James Austin and Rosalie Woods of Winslow, Sally Jean and Randy Ward of Hodgdon, and John Robert Woods of Houlton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Harris of Farmingdale and a brother, Bernard and Arabelle Willette of Millinocket; brother-in-law, Donald and Helen Woods of Houlton; two sisters-in-law, Marylou Gray and Ann Gay Ellis, both of Phoneix, AZ; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, William; one brother, Ernie Willette; and four sisters, Margaret London, Phyllis Dow, Anna Austin, and Barbara Maxwell.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton, with the Deacon Al Burleigh officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
