PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Thanksgiving is just around the corner — a time when many stop and consider all the things they have to be thankful for this holiday season. GIFT (Grace Interfaith Food Table) officials are among those who are grateful for the kindness bestowed on the agency by businesses, organizations and individuals.
“GIFT, Presque Isle’s food pantry, thanks the churches, businesses and individuals who have generously contributed food and financial assistance,” said Alanna Morin, on behalf of the nonprofit.
Monetary and food donations go a long way in aiding those in the community who are struggling to feed families while attempting to make ends meet.
“GIFT serves over 2,500 clients annually. We are in great need of assistance” all year long, said Morin. “Please consider offering financial or food contributions.”
Donations are accepted at GIFT, located at 11 Industrial St., each Wednesday between 9 a.m. and noon.
